I ended up sobbing in a rental car in a Colorado Springs parking lot, completely unable to explain what was happening inside me. And here's the part that still gets me: I have a PhD in psychology. Thirty years of clinical experience. I had all the language, all the frameworks, all the credentials.
And I couldn't see my own life clearly.
That day changed everything. Because that's the day I finally stopped asking what is wrong with me and started asking what happened to me.
Those two questions lead to completely different places. I wrote this book to help you find the second one.
