Hello, here's a bit more about me
Chad Wilt is a Licensed Professional counselor with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from Ohio University and a Masters Degree in Clinical Counseling from Ashland Theological Seminary. His continued training in relationships and marital therapy allows him to come alongside couples to help them overcome obstacles of intimacy, pornography, communication, conflict resolution, infidelity, and parenting issues.
Pursuing his passion as a marriage coach and therapist came from his own personal experience as a child coping with the effects of divorce and the desire to have a thriving healthy marriage of his own.
Chad, aka “Charlie Brown”, as his family and close friends sometimes affectionately call him, brings a sense of humor and compassion in his role as a marriage coach that enables him to connect with a couple and help them feel at ease and comfortable. In addition to his work as a marriage coach for the Smalley Institute, Chad also provides clinical counseling in a private practice in Westerville, Ohio.
Chad and his wife Melanie, were married in 1996 after they fell in love singing together at a high school cabaret where Chad was the band director and his wife was the musical director. Chad and Melanie live in Lewis Center, Ohio with their 3 wonderful, and thank the Lord, not perfect children. Chad’s interests, outside of his family and working with couples, are camping, hiking, backpacking, anything outdoors, and his love music.
