Hello, here's a bit more about me
Kim is a marriage coach with the Smalley Institute in Dallas, Texas. Her passion is helping couples find their way back to each other after they have lost their way. Many times couples hurt each other unintentionally. The majority of the time is because they don’t have the necessary skills to resolve conflict in a healthy way.
Kim believes in a no shame and no blame approach on the journey to recovery. Her prayer is that we can all work to extend the same grace and forgiveness to one another that Christ has graciously given to us. This combined with a couple’s new “tools” learned through the Smalley intensives and a total dedication to one another will lend newfound hope to a couple’s future.
Kim received her Bachelor’s Degree from Texas Tech University in Lubbock Texas and her Master’s degree in Educational Counseling from Abilene Christian University. Later, she pursued her education to become a Licensed Professional Counselor. She was in private practice for several years but experienced frustration with the once a week counseling approach. Once she was exposed to the Smalley intensives, she found a new passion for helping couples.
Kim and her husband Randy, who have been married 36 years, live on a cotton farm in West Texas. They are blessed to have two wonderful grown children, a sweet daughter-in-law and 3 precious little grandsons.
